• Unexplained injuries
• Weight loss
• Regularly losing their keys or access fobs
• Acting in a secretive manner
• Carrying multiple mobile phones
• Sudden payment of rent arrears
• Rough sleeping or sofa-surfing
• Presenting as angry, anxious, fearful or withdrawn
• Avoiding eye contact
